Call, Wathen Mark Wilks (1817—1890)

Call, an English positivist, entered the ministry in 1843 but resigned his curacy about 1856 on account of his change of opinions, which is recounted in his preface to Reverberations (1876).

Call contributed largely to the Forthrightly and Westminster Review.
