Becker, Walter Frederick [Sir] (Born 1855)

A ship owner, Becker was known for his philanthropy. He founded, maintained, and was chairman of the Maternity and Rescue Home at Turin.

During the War he founded, maintained, and directed a hospital at Turin for the British Expeditionary Force.

Sir Walter was an agnostic.
