Behrendt, Walter Curt (16 December 1884 - 26 April 1945)

When he signed Humanist Manifesto II, Behrendt was Vice President of the European Parliament, West Germany.

Behrendt was a German-American architect who had been born in Metz and with help from Lewis Mumford emigrated to the United States in 1934 to teach at Dartmouth College.

He died in Norwich, Vermont.
