Raymond V. Finley Sr. (27 May 1974 - )

Finley is a native Atlantan and is married to Amber R. Finley. They have three children of varying ages. Their marriage was officiated by a fellow atheist, Dr. Ed Buckner, the Southern executive director for The Council for Secular Humanism.

Finley is a graduate of the Atlanta Broadcast Institute, from which he received his broadcast certification May 15th, 2003. He is the co-founder of The Atheist Network, a site which fosters a growing community of atheists.

Inasmuch as he has been in a variety of overseas missions as a US Army infantryman and received an honorable discharge as well as a multitude of awards, he claims fully qualified to be called "an atheist in a foxhole." He is an ex-Federal law enforcement officer and ex-Army National Guardsman.

Mr. Finley has published articles about his past experiences as a "psychic" while working for The Psychic Network. He is periodically published in various freethought magazines, newspapers, and newsletters throughout the world, and he makes frequent appearances on syndicated radio shows debunking psychics and defending non-belief.

His websites have received in excess of 800,000 visitors a month. Currently, he operates out of his home and does his own production and direction of Infidel Guy Radio. His video production, "Is Heaven The Sky" has gathered international attention and now, a re-release of his original essay on Heaven has been rewritten with the help of Dr. Robert Price.

An ex-Christian, Finley is now a lifetime educational activist, quasi-humanist and atheist. He dedicates over 80 hrs a week producing "Live with the Infidel Guy" and webmastering infidelguy.com. The Infidel Guy show is known for bringing on reputable guests that challenge his listeners as well as IG. The program is centered around discussing critical thinking, free thought, atheism, humanism, skepticism, reason, science, and religion and spiritual beliefs.
