Cevallos Estarellas, Pablo (20th Century)

Cevallos, who has taught at the Catholic University of Santiago in Guayaquil, Ecuador, is a secular humanist with a special interest in logic and critical thinking.

He has been active with the Asociación Iberoamericana Ético Humanista, a group of Spanish-speaking ethical humanists in Central and South America.

In 1996 he spoke about humanism in Latin America at the Humanist World Congress held in Mexico City.

In 1997, he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to study at Montclair State University in New Jersey.

In 2006, Cevallos earned his Ph. D. from Montclair State University.
