Mary T. Beaty (day/month/year - )

Beaty received her B.A. and B. Ed. at the University of Iowa in 1969 and her M. L. S. from the University of Toronto in 1975.

Working with information systems, she is a Humanist Celebrant (ordained clergy); is the NGO Representative for the American Humanist Association to the United Nations; the webmaster and moderator of CEBO.org; an activist member of the Humanist Society of Metropolitan New York; and a member of the National Writer's Union.

With Maureen McCallum Garvie, she wrote George Johnson's War (2002), about the son of Sir William Johnson and Molly Brant, sister of Iroquois leader Joseph Brant, during the time of the American War of Independence.
