Liso Jo Singletary

Lisa Jo Singletary (Died 23 January 2009)

Singletary was an artist, designer, crafter, and musician with a Ph.D. She spent over forty years helping victims of domestic violence in the Los Angeles area. She was the president for eight years of the American Humanist Association (AHA) chapter, the Humanist Association of Los Angeles.

Later, she moved with her husband to the Las Vegas area, where she co-founded and served on the board of the Humanist Association of Las Vegas and Southern Nevada.

Singletary was active in multiple projects and committees with the national AHA organization throughout her lifetime. She is survived by her husband, AHA member john Singletary.
