Joseph R. Levee

Levee, Joseph R. (21 February 1926 - )
Levee, who was born in Troy, New York, was Vice President for Taxes of Richardson Vicks, Inc., retiring in 1986.
He founded the Cincinnati-area Free Inquiry Group and is a Secular Humanist Mentor of the Council for Secular Humanism. In 1995 he became a member of the Council’s board of directors, and in 1998 he became its treasurer.
Levee, a fervent activist, is one of the more forward-looking secular humanists. He is a member of the Free Inquiry Group, the American Humanist Association, American Atheists, Freedom from Religion Foundation, and the Secular Student Alliance.
