Jack Steinberger

Steinberger, Jack (25 May 1921 - )
A physicist who won the Nobel Laureate in 1988, Steinberger came to the United States from Bavaria, Germany, in 1935.
He taught at Columbia University (1950-1968) and with the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneve, Switzerland.
Steinberger signed Humanist Manifesto 2000. He is a member of the International Academy of Humanism.
