Belot, Gustave (Born 1859)

Belot was a French positivist philosopher, a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour, Officer of Public Instruction, and member of the Conseil Supérieur de l’Instruction Publique. He translated John Stuart Mill’s Logic (1897) and wrote various positivist works.
