Barzelotti, Giacomo (1844-1921)
A professor of philosophy, Barzelotti has been described as “a sort of Italian Cousin, attracted by Taine and Spencer to the positive school.” His David Lazzretti, which Renan admired, is on the Index Prohibitorum.
In 1886, he wrote Santi, Solitari E Filosofi: Saggi Psicologici.
