Oswald, Felix Leopold (Born 1845)
Oswald was a Belgian-born American author.
Educated as a physician, Oswald devoted his attention to natural history. He contributed to the Popular Science Monthly, the atheists' Truthseeker, and other journals.
Oswald published a work describing his travels in Mexico and Central America, Summerland Sketches (1881). Other of his books are The Secrets of the East (1883), in which he argues that Christianity is derived from Buddhism, and The Bible of Nature (1888), or principles of secularism.
