Roy, Evelyn Trent (1892-1970)

The first wife of M. N. Roy [[1]], Evelyn Roy was a Stanford University graduate who worked in the international Communist movement and in 1922 was a founding member of the Indian Communist Party in exile (in Tashkent).

With M. N. Roy, she wrote One Year of Non-Cooperation and The Communist Manifesto. She was divorced from him in 1927.
