Ernest Kuebler

Kuebler, Ernest William (1903 - 1992 )

Working with Frederick May Eliot and Sophia L. Fahs, Kuebler became one of the most important forces in religious education in 20th century liberal religion.

His approach was to move Unitarian religious education “from a Bible-centered to a child-centered approach.”

From 1937 to 1962, he was general editor of Beacon Books in Religious Education.
