Walton, Don (Died 1999)

Walton, a member in Oxford of the Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association, met Bernard Conolly, an editorial executive on the Daily Mail in the 1950s, and their partnership lasted forty years. Conolly became deputy editor of the Oxford Mail.

When he knew in the last few weeks that he was dying, Walton set to work recording the music he wanted to be played at his Humanist funeral ceremony.
