David Gray

David Gray (13 June 1968 - )

David Peter Gray was born in Sale, a town within the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford in Greater Manchester, England, and was brought up in Altrincham, Cheshire. He moved with his family to Wales where he grew up in the small coastal town of Solva in Pembrokeshire and went on to attend the Carmarthenshire College of Art. He later moved back to the north-west of England to attend the University of Liverpool.

Gray is an alternative rock, folk rock, and rock musician, a songwriter as well as a producer.

He is an outspoken atheist.
