Eliseo Calenzio

Calenzio, Eliseo (c. 1440—1503)

An Italian writer, Calenzio was preceptor to Prince Frederic, the son of Ferdinand, King of Naples. He wrote a number of satires, fables, and epigrams, some of which are directed against the Church.
