Alan Belk

Alan Belk (27 March 1947 - )

Derby-born Belk was educated in England at Bristol Grammar School from 1958 to 1965, failing to become fluent in any language other than English. In 1976, he emigrated to Canada.

A philosopher of science, he directs his research toward discovering if paronomasia (from which he is a lifelong sufferer) is an inherited condition.

His interests are ethics, popular science, and bioethics. An atheist, he lives with his second wife and children in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
