Al-Kindi

Al-Kindi (c. 800-c. 870)
Al-Kindi was an Arab philosopher who was born in Kufa, Iraq. Known as “the philosopher of the Arabs,” he was among the first to spread Greek thought in the Arab world, synthesizing Aristotle’s and other Greeks’ views, with Islamic doctrine.
