Ahriman
From Philosopedia
AHRIMAN
Ahriman, or Angra Mainyu the son of Zuruam, is the personified principle of evil, the one opposed to Orzmazd, in the Zoroastrian religion.
Some scholars believe Ahriman and the dualism of evil and good were Judaism’s inspiration for Satan.
The Manual of Discipline in the Dead Sea Scrolls is believed to reflect Zoroastrian influence.
