Admiraal, Aart (1833—1878)
Admiraal was a Dutch writer who, first a schoolmaster, became director of the telegraph bureau at Schoonhoven. From 1856 and for many years, he wrote using the anagram “Aramaldi” in De Dageraad.
In 1867 he published The Religion of the People under the pseudonym “Bato van der Maas,” a name he also used when writing in other periodicals.
