Antony Flew, emeritus professor of philosophy at the University of Reading and professor of philosophy at York University in Ontario, has been editorial consultant of the revised second edition. A concise dictionary of philosophic terms and a handbook for the general reader, the work has contributions by thirty-three specialists and was edited by Jennifer Speake.
